History
In 1978 JEDAC was formed in Jeddah in conjunction with General Electric (G.E.) USA, to enable JEDAC an affiliate company of G.E. to manufacture equipment that fully complied to GE designs and standards.
The early association of GE and JEDAC was the corner stone in establishing a manufacturing factory in the Middle East to GE Specification and Standards.
In the 1990’s the business was sold and the company name changed to Gulf Electrical Distribution Apparatuses Co. Ltd. (Gedac Electric), the cooperation with GE continued and in 2009 a strategic partnership agreement was concluded between GE & Gedac Electric.
